Eco Action 21 features a certification and registration program based on the Eco Action 21 Guidelines issued by the Ministry of the Environment, which were created to support all institutions – whether small or medium businesses, schools or public agencies – in properly carrying out environmental initiatives. This includes setting up, operating and maintaining systems for environmental management, setting environmental targets, carrying out initiatives and evaluating and reporting the results. The certification and registration program is carried out by the Institute for Promoting Sustainable Societies.
